    We were all very proud on Sunday when Skip was presented with the Scout Association's Silver Acorn Award during our St George's Day Service at Rochester Cathedral.  The hard work and commitment shown to 24th Borstal scouts was only part of the reason this was awarded. The fundraising and assistance given towards scouting in South Africa as well as the time and dedication shown towards Buckmore Park Scout Campsite were also part of why Skip was given one of the highest accolades for scout leaders.
